‘Fun fun all the way’

Bunny Hop is a very enjoyable hour spent every week where my children learn and join in songs and music they love. I feel it really benefits them in many ways. Would really recommend it to everyone.

I feel Bunny Hop is a brilliant way for children to play and express themselves which helps to build self confidence and social skills through song and dance. My kids love coming to Bunny Hop every week to meet their little buddies.

‘Lovely environment with great variety of music and activities.  Look forward to it every week.’

Music-tastic!!! Great fun, children got a lot out of the sessions, always talking about Bunny Hop!

Nicola set up Bunny Hop in September 2008 for babies and toddlers. I first heard about Bunny Hop in April 2010, through one of my parents who was taking her toddler to Bunny Hop. I was intrigued and very interested in this wonderful idea and asked my parent for contact details of ‘the Bunny Hop lady’. Having discussed Bunny Hop over the phone I arranged a demonstration for the following week.. I was so totally impressed by what I saw, that I immediately put the idea of having Bunny Hop on a weekly basis to my parents, who thankfully were very open to the idea. Bunny Hop has become part of life at Country Mice and will continue to do so in the future.

In those early days I invited two people from County Tipperary Childcare Committee to sit in on a Bunny Hop session and they also were very taken with the idea.

Why was I so impressed? For me Bunny Hop is a combination of singing and drama, which increases self-confidence, promotes empathy; acting roles promotes compassion and tolerance for others, promotes co-operation and collaboration, promotes listening and communication skills.

Singing and drama are an emotional outlet for children; drama allows students to express a range of emotions, promotes self-discipline, expands the memory, and promotes aesthetic awareness, raises an appreciation of the arts. Bunny Hop is fun and enjoyable and promotes holistic development in children.
